At present hazardous waste disposal is regarded an issue that everyone has contributed an attention to. With respect to inappropriate processes of waste elimination, the impacts have generated costs of environmental recovery altogether with physical well-being of people. Regarding to the information from the environmentally responsible organisations namely Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Industrial Works and Department of Health state that an annual growth of hazardous waste generated is a result of increasing in population, an expansion of economics and wastage of energy resources. By reason of the following impacts, Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry Thailand, constructed the first waste incineration centre in the country under the name of “Bangpoo Industrial Waste Management Centre (Waste incinerator), Samut Prakarn province” in subject of creating appropriate waste disposal methods, concerning to the environment and health care. In particular, the centre’s modernised air purification plants are capable to control air pollution generated from the combustion processes to a temperature at 85 Celsius.

In order to achieve the purpose of the construction, Department of Industrial Works has granted rights of centre management to Akkhie Prakarn Public Company Limited in association with Better World Green Public Company Limited, a professional in waste management and disposal services.
